Weldon Children’s Services provides Out of School Hours (OOSH) and Vacation Care/Pupil Free Days on site at Russell Lea Public School and is located in the school hall.
Weldon is a not-for-profit community organisation, with an impressive history supporting families and children across Sydney.
Weldon’s before and after school care program offers recreational and learning programs for children aged 5 – 12 years during school terms.
Our aim is to create a safe and caring environment where children can choose to participate in a range of play-based activities that engage, promote curiosity and learning, and are driven by the interests of the children attending the program.
Breakfast is provided during Before School Care and afternoon tea provided during After School Care.
Our vacation care and pupil free day program offer a range of structured and unstructured experiences for children ages 5-12 years during non-school term time.
The experiences being offered allow children to build friendships while being involved in a choice of activities. We encourage self-directed activity and exploration of the world we live in through art, craft, cooking, drama, excursions and indoor/outdoor projects and games.
