Russell Lea Infants' School was established in 1931 and was one of the largest Infants' Schools in NSW. In 2016 the Minister reclassifed Russell Lea Public School to a K-6 school.
Our purpose is to encourage the students to be responsible for their own learning and to become independent learners with high self-esteem. Our programs help to develop skills in communicating and decision-making. Learning experiences are provided to enable students to become well-rounded people who reach their potential in all areas. We expect all students to establish patterns of learning that will prepare them for their future life and we encourage them to be caring and co-operative individuals with a sense of responsibility to themselves, to others and the environment.
