Learning

At our school, we teach the NSW curriculum and offer many different subjects to support each student’s learning. We know that development of skills in literacy and numeracy are the building blocks for learning and for everyday life. Our teachers use effective teaching strategies to help students achieve their goals.

Why choose us for your child’s learning?

Strong foundations

From the first day school, every student is recognised as an individual with unique strengths and learning needs. We provide tailored support to ensure each child builds the foundational skills needed for lifelong success.

As a proud ‘reading school,’ we prioritise early literacy through a structured and inclusive approach. Our consistently high Year 1 phonics screening results—well above the national average—reflect our commitment to ensuring no child is left behind.

High-quality education

Our teachers are not only highly skilled—they’re committed learners themselves. Through a tailored, context-driven approach to professional development, staff continually refine their practice using the most effective, evidence-informed strategies. This dedication leads to stronger outcomes for every child.

We offer a broad and engaging curriculum designed to spark curiosity and passion. With expert guidance, students are encouraged to explore their interests, strive for personal excellence, and achieve success in areas they love.

Inclusive and personalised learning

At our school, the Learning Support Team works in close partnership with classroom teachers to ensure that every student receives the support they need to thrive. While high-quality teaching and differentiated instruction form the foundation of our classrooms, we recognise that some students may require additional assistance to meet their learning goals.

Twice a year, we conduct comprehensive whole-school assessments to monitor each child's progress in key learning areas. Our aim is clear: every student should experience at least one year’s growth for every year of teaching.

For students who are not yet meeting this benchmark, timely and targeted interventions are put in place. Our Learning Support Team delivers tailored assistance designed to help students overcome challenges and re-engage confidently with their learning journey.

Extension opportunities

We’re committed to helping every child reach their full potential. Our High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) coordinator has implemented clear policies to identify and support students who show exceptional ability or promise. These students are offered tailored extension opportunities to ensure ongoing growth and achievement.

Beyond the classroom, our wide range of extracurricular programs allows all students to explore interests, ignite passions, and discover new pathways to success.
