During their 3 years at Russell Lea our students are provided with many opportunities to socialise with other students throughout the school.
We encourage independence and promote sound organisational skills. All students are taught by other teachers for Music, Library, Sports, Human Society and its Environment, Science and Technology and computers across the week enabling them to relate to all teachers and experience a range of teaching styles in preparation for their new school.
To help build a positive self-esteem the Year 2 students are given many opportunities and responsibilities in the school eg Bell Monitor, Sports Monitor, Environment Monitor and Student Representative Council Member.
